Virtual Santa

Hello, everyone. Today, I will introduce "Virtual Santa."

When I was an elementary school student, I often joined Christmas parties which were held in friends' house. At that time, participants exchanged their present to the others' present. These are good memory for me... But what about today's children? Due to COVID-19 virus, they cannot meet their friends or Santa, especially, foreign children cannot.

To solve the problem which children cannot meet friends or Santa, "Virtual Santa" has been invented by a British company! We can meet virtual Santa at Santa HQ, a homepage managed by the company.

At Santa HQ, children can meet Santa dance and sing with him, and discuss arts and music using video conference every day. Santa performers are drilled to be able to use modern gadget like zoom, so they can talk with children smoothly. It costs 30 ponds (about 4,000 yen) to talk with Santa, but considering the cost of traveling and performers' work, this is reasonable price, the company said.

I think that it is sad not to be able to meet other people, but I'm happy if people can connect with each other in modern means like digital gadget.  ...Do you have any memory related to Christmas? If so, please tell me on comments! I'm looking forward to reading it!

    Thank you for reading😀.

  1. Hi Kayoko.
Talking with Virtual Santa will be nice!
When I was an elementary school student, I found out that Santa-san does not exist!
At that time, I was so sad that I was not able to get over the shock...
This is my unforgettable Christmas memory:)
